Mission:
To promote the development and commercialization of competitive and reliable energy storage delivery systems for use by electricity suppliers and their customers, thereby bringing financial and technical benefits for energy storage operators.

Meetings:
ESA Members recieve a discounted registration rate to attend the ESA's Annual Meeting.  Members are invited to participate in the Member's Only Session at the Annual Meeting in addition to ESA Seminars, Workshops and Symposia held in conjunction with meetings on technologies related to or involving energy storage

Website:
The ESA Website is the go-to information resource for the storage industry, educating its visitors with the latest information on energy storage projects and member press releases.   The website includes an on-line member directory with links to members’ websites and links to ESA promotional materials describing energy storage projects, products and applications.  The website also contains Member's Only content such as discussion areas and ability to comment.

2011 Membership Fees (Effective until December 31, 2011):
The ESA Membership Fee is for a calendar year. The dues for a new member will be pro-rated on a monthly basis.

Corporate Membership: (US $2,000) includes:
Members Only Session at the annual ESA Meeting & vote
A company listing on the ESA website with links to your company page
News emails

Individual Membership: (eligible to single person companies) (US $600) includes:
Members Only Session at the annual ESA Meeting & vote
An individual listing on the ESA website, and News emails.

2012 Membership Dues:
For 2012, the ESA Board of Directors has approved the implementation of a tiered dues structure based on energy industry revenue for corporate members.This new structure was introduced at the 21st ESA Annual Meeting in San Jose, CA.  The membership tiers are outlined in the table below:

This tiered dues structure will enable the development of new technical reports to advance the industry’s value proposition and allow for the implementation of improved communication strategies. This structure will become effective on January 1, 2012.
