ESA Announces Call for Abstracts for Upcoming Annual Meeting

As the world's premier electricity storage trade organization, the non-profit Electricity Storage Association (ESA) is able to draw directly from its diverse membership to provide a highly relevant and comprehensive annual meeting agenda.  We look forward to showcasing the breadth of the ESA's membership during this year's meeting in Washington, DC.

We are looking forward to bringing the storage industry together at the Electricity Storage Association's (ESA) 22nd Annual Meeting at The Marriott Wardman Park Hotel in Washington, DC from May 2-4, 2012. Two workshops and the opening reception will be held on Wednesday, May 2nd and the full program will be held on Thursday, May 3rd and Friday, May 4th.

This year's program will include presentations highlighting the following topics impacting storage industry:

  • Use of Storage in Large Scale Applications for Generation and Transmission
  • Distributed Energy Storage Systems on the Electric Grid
  • Operational Experience at the "Edge of the Grid"
  • Storage for End Users and Microgrids
  • Financing of Storage
  • Economics of Storage
  • Beyond the U.S: International Markets
  • Technology Radar

This is a one-time call for abstracts for the ESA's 22nd Annual Meeting. To be considered for a presentation, please complete the online abstract submission form. Submissions must be received by midnight EST on Friday, January 27, 2012 and the submitting party must be an ESA member to be considered.

Abstracts will be reviewed by the ESA Annual Meeting Management Committee. Communication regarding the acceptance or decline of abstracts is scheduled to be sent on February 29, 2012.
